Team roster should consist of four (4) players: two (2) females and two (2) males.
Each team will make up two doubles teams (one male and one female).
Each doubles team will be matched with another company's doubles team at the start of the competition.
Opponents will keep score of the other team's strokes.
The doubles team scores will be combined at the end of the round (18 holes) to establish the final team score.
Ties will be broken by comparing total team score on each hole starting at hole #1.
Players may use their own putter or one of the putters provided at the location. Golf balls will be provided (you may not use your own).
Players start by flipping a coin to establish putting order. After the 1st hole, the best score on the current hole will putt first, 2nd best will putt second, etc.
Player furthest from the hole shall putt first following everyone's 1st putt. Once player is within 2 feet of the hole, they have the option to putt out.
If a player hits another players ball, the player putting will play their ball where it lies, but the other player's ball must be played as close to the original spot as possible. If an opponent ball is in the line of a player's ball that is furthest away, that player may request opponent's ball to be marked.
Anytime a ball leaves the playing area, the ball must be placed within 6 inches of the side at the point where the ball left. A one-stroke penalty will be assessed to player's stroke total.
Anytime a ball comes to rest, or is less than 6 inches from the side of the field, a player has the option to move the ball out laterally no more than 6 inches. This does not apply to any obstacles that are part of the hole.
After 6 strokes of the ball a player must pick up their ball, and a 7 is recorded on the scorecard.
No slow play will be tolerated. There will be a 2-stroke penalty after initial warning.
Each team must attest to their own and opponent's score card before submitting it to the scorer's table.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the team members of the top 3 finishers (maximum 4 medals per team).
