Participation in the Scavenger Hunt is open to all employees; no official roster will be required.
The first list of items for the Scavenger Hunt will be available at the coordinators briefing.
On Monday morning of each week a new list of items will be posted on the Portland Corporate Games website.
Each list of items for the Scavenger Hunt will usually consist of 25 items; however, some lists may be more and some may be less depending on the difficulty level of the list.
Video tape or take pictures items from the list as the Scavenger Hunt list describes.
Before each item on the list is recorded, state which numbered item you are completing by either saying the item number, or displaying the number next to the item. If the number of the item is not stated or visible, no point will be received for the item.
Each item will be worth one point, and totaled to give a final team score. All items must be original and not computer generated. Any fraud in this manner will result in disqualification from the event.
In case of a tie of the final accumulated score, judges will refer to score sheets of the tied teams and compare items found, starting at item #1. If one team has an item, but the other does not, the team having the first unmatched item will be the winner.
The video tape and/or DVD must be received by May 31st.
PCG reserves the right to use all videos and pictures for the promotion of our tournaments.
A slideshow of all Scavenger Hunt items from participants will be shown at the Closing Ceremony. In addition, all participants are welcome to bring their items to the Closing Ceremony for display.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the team members of the top 3 finishers (maximum 8 medals per team).
No Volunteers Needed for this Event.
