| Teams may be 4-8 players |
| Each team MUST have a digital camera with download cord present for judging post race on location |
| Teams meet at Buffalo Gap on Macadam Ave @ 8:45 AM for check in |
| Release quiz handed out at 9 AM |
| Quiz consists of 20 questions about Portland |
| 9:25 AM all quizzes checked turned in. At which time the 12 check points will be issued to each team |
| The team w/ the highest scoring quiz will be released to downtown PDX to complete second half of challenge |
| All teams dispersed in order of quiz score every 5 mins |
| At 10 AM final team(s) released to complete remainder of challenge |
| Teams will be given a set of rules to comply with in terms of the order of check points required to visit. For instance Team 1 may be asked to complete their check points in order of geographical location (i.e. east to west). Team 2 may be asked to complete in Alphabetical order. Rule set shall be determined by random draw with company release into Downtown Portland |
| At each check point teams will be required to get a photo proving their visit in the order on the camera in which they were given at release. This photo requires all team members to be present in photo. For each team member not present, there will be a 5 point penalty |
| There will be a 3 additional items of bonus value at each location that will be handed out with check point locations. Proof of photo of each item will result in determined point value as a bonus |
| For each check point that is visited and photographed out of order, teams will be penalized by 5 points |
| Teams will have until 1 pm to return to the Buffalo Gap with recorder check points and any bonus items on digital camera |
| For every 5 minutes late, each team will be penalized 5 points |
| For every 5 minutes early, teams will receive a BONUS 5 points |
| The team with the highest point total after review at the Buffalo Gap (1 pm to 4 pm) will win |
| Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the team members of the top 3 finishers (maximum 4 medals per team) |
