Team rosters may consist of a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four (4) players, including a minimum of one (1) female and one (1) male per team.
Each team member will begin play at a separate table. Table assignments will be random and consist of a maximum of ten (10) players per table.
This Tournament is for Corporate Cup Points and Medals only (not money).
Each player will start with the same number of and value of chips: 10 chips valued at 5 each, 10 chips valued at 25 each, and 7 chips valued at 100 each for a total of 1,000 worth of chips.
Lower valued chips will be "colored up" when they are no longer needed due to increased blinds. Any amounts not equal to the colored up chip denomination will be rounded up.
The first round of play will be timed and end at 55 minutes.
At the end of the first round the individual with the highest total value of chips from each team will advance to the next round. All chips from each team will be combined and the chip leader will use the team's total chip holdings in the next round.
A second round may be necessary to determine the final table. In the case of a second round, it will be timed to 55 minutes. At the end of the time period the top ten (10) chip leaders will progress to the final table.
During the second round, should the number of remaining players drop to ten (10) prior to time being called, the round will be ended and play at the final table will begin.
The final table will have a "loose" time limit. Play should end by 11:00pm. A PCG official will announce 15 minutes prior to 11:00pm and each 5 minutes thereafter. If 11:00pm is reached and time called, placements will be determined by the chip leader(s).
In each new round, players will draw to see who will start as the Dealer. Dealer responsibility rotates clockwise one player after each hand.
Dealer must shuffle cards a minimum of three (3) times and then cut cards for each hand.
The Dealer must burn one card before dealing the hole cards, as well as one card prior to turning over the flop, the turn and the river.
The tournament will include a small blind and a big blind. The Small Blind is the player seated to the left of the Dealer. The Big Blind is the player seated to the left of the Small Blind.
The blinds will increase every 20 minutes throughout the tournament. A PCG official will announce the blinds at each increase.
All participating hands will be turned face-up whenever a player is "all in" and betting action is complete.
If two (2) or more players tie, the pot will be split between the players who tied. If there is an odd chip, it will be awarded to the player who is seated in the first position to act.
If more than one (1) player is eliminated on the same hand the player with the highest chip total at the beginning of the hand will be awarded the higher finishing points.
Should the Small Blind be eliminated then the player to the right of the missing player will deal and blinds are posted as usual. Should the Big Blind be eliminated then the Small Blind is dead and only the Big Blind is posted. The hand following that hand would be dealt by the player to the right of the missing player and blinds are posted as usual.
Absent players will dealt a hand and held responsible for blinds. If a player is absent when it is his/her turn to act the hand will be folded.
When only two (2) players remain, the player due to act as the Big Blind will do so and the other player will assume the Dealer position. The Dealer will act first prior to the flop and second after the flop.
If a card is dealt face-up by accident the Dealer continues to deal all of the hole cards as usual. The Dealer then replaces the improperly dealt card with a new card and the improperly dealt card is burned.
Players are not allowed to turn over cards in the muck pile. When each hand is completed the Dealer will collect all cards and pass them to the next to deal.
The Dealer is the only player allowed to touch chips in the pot. Players should make change with other players between hands. If necessary, the player may state their intended action (call, raise) and the dealer may make change for the player from the pot.
Players who win a non-called pot are not required to show their cards.
Remember, this is No-Limit Hold'em, a player can bet any amount from the minimum bet to the maximum number of chips they have in front of them. Once you loose your chips you are out of the tournament.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the team members of the top 3 finishers (maximum 4 medals per team).
